Teaching

I have taught philosophy at several undergraduate institutions, including the University of Missouri (MO), Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Santiago, Chile), Pittsburg State University (KS), and Fontbonne University (MO). Additionally, I am a faculty member of the Missouri Scholars Academy, a three-week summer program for academically gifted high school students of Missouri.

My primary goal in teaching is to present philosophy as a discipline that helps students become excellent critical thinkers. I am particularly interested in showing how philosophical thinking can address the diverse challenges that arise in students’ academic, personal, and work-related environments.
