I am first and foremost passionate about philosophy and its role in our intellectual lives. I recently completed my PhD at the University of Missouri (Columbia, MO), where I conducted extensive teaching and research on topics such as epistemology and moral psychology. Previously, I obtained a BA and a MA in Philosophy from Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Santiago, Chile).
My current research focuses on two areas: virtue epistemology and moral psychology. More details on my research can be found here.
I have taught several philosophy courses at the undergraduate level, including Logic and Critical Thinking, Ethics, Biomedical Ethics, The Meaning of Life, Philosophy of Religion, among others. My primary goal in teaching is to present philosophy as a discipline that helps students become excellent critical thinkers. I am particularly interested in showing how philosophical thinking can address the diverse challenges that arise in students’ academic, personal, and work-related environments. More details on my teaching can be found here.
